Chicago neighborhood

The goal of this project was to create a more open floor-plan in this house. Originally the kitchen was a small galley style space, and a big dining room that the clients felt was wasted space. We opened up the room and gave them a large kitchen with tons of storage, and a more casual dining area. The floor plan now is much better for their growing family and for entertaining.
The added bonus is all the natural light that floods into the entire house with the removal of the wall..
