Coastal Cutie

The living room has soaring cathedral ceilings with lots of natural light.The kitchen was redone to allow a better flow with custom cabinets and ope floor plan with family room. The addition of a wall of cabinets in the playroom afforded these clients the much needed storage space their home was lacking, and helps to keep the playroom tidy!

The island was an l-shaped and did not allow for good funsction. When planning the new kitchen it was important to add storage, work space and better flow

Client wanted a warm , casual beachy feel so by incorporating some reclaimed wood and light colors on the walls and upholstery it gave her the aesthetic she wanted

The only request from the husband was to incorporate ship lap into the new designs. We used white ship lap on the Fireplace wall

Eat in kitchen had french doors which made the space non functional , so we changed it to slider with a transom to add some extra light. The round table was custom made by Saltaire

This table had great iron straps for the base, we had it painted by Du Grenier to a custom gray color and she painted the chairs as well.We added the chandelier which is a capiz shell drum and new curios, rug and window treatments

The living room for the sofa we made slipcovers at kellydesigns as well as seat cushions and soft roman shades.

As the playroom is the first roo of the house the home did not want toys always at the entrance so custom cabinets and window seat were made to provide ample storage
