Coordinator/Stylist-Alicia Rolwes
From an early age, my fascination with design and construction was undeniable. I eagerly joined my father in household projects and insisted on contributing to the construction of our family home—a formative experience that ignited my passion for the field.
After completing my Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, I dove headfirst into the industry, where I've had the privilege of working on a diverse array of projects, ranging from small residential spaces to large educational facilities.
However, amidst the dynamic world of design, I've found a particular joy in a rather unexpected passion— organization. There's something deeply gratifying about bringing order to chaos and ensuring that every aspect of a space serves a purpose. So, naturally, I've made it a priority to integrate this love of organization into every design endeavor, creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional.
In my personal design approach, I tend to begin with a neutral palette and then layer on warmth and texture to create a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoy combining modern black metals with natural wood tones and occasionally introducing pops of color for added interest.
As a designer, finding contentment with my own space can be a bit of a challenge, given the constant influx of new and inspiring design trends. However, this ever-evolving landscape is also what makes designing for others so enjoyable. Each client brings their own unique style to the table, providing me with the opportunity to incorporate fresh ideas and elements into my work. It's a process that keeps me creatively engaged and excited about the possibilities.
