This large mature garden was just under half an acre and laid mainly to grass. The brief was to remove about a quarter of the grass to make the garden more interesting. Other requirements were a seating area and pergola, plants and trees to add height and for screening purposes. A pond was also being considered.

Our design incorporated:-

A corner patio in Symphony Corrado porcelain plank paving with pergola over.
A raised planter around outside edge of patio, clad in Harvest stoneface drystack veneer walling.
A wildlife pond surrounded by riven sandstone slabs and beach pebbles.

The garden now has a beautiful new seating area, perfectly framed by the raised planters and pergola.
The formation of the wildlife pond with beach and planting perfectly complements the peaceful setting.
Carefully chosen planting will provide year-round interest in the borders, planters and beach area.
