The client wanted designated areas for entertaining, relaxing and a raised vegetable garden. We removed all of the client's grass and replaced it with decomposed granite pathways, poured in place concrete pads with river rock and planters with drought-tolerant plantings and mulch. We also added a small low-maintenance, recirculating fountain as the final element of the garden. We kept a small patch of grass in front of the fountain at the client's request.
