The lot on this home and its location to the walk-able downtown the client wanted to make this their own personal residence. With this in mind, we needed to open up the house to its original single residence function. We also needed to add a family room, expanded kitchen, master suite, and a garage space. The lot was large enough to incorporate all of the spaces and a small pool in the rear. The owners also wanted to update the exterior finishes to give it a more traditional feel and add curb appeal. We added a front covered porch and sitting area to give the front of the home a more welcoming appearance. In the rear, the additions helped open up the kitchen, family room, and master suite with large glass areas over-looking a private rear yard and small pool.
