Lake Perry Residence
The Client wanted a newly constructed house that resembled a remodeled farmhouse.
The house needed to be ADA accessible. We incorporated many ADA features. There is a zero entry shower that is open on 2 sides as not to create a dead end. The rooms were large enough for ADA clearance. The stairs were extra wide to accommodate a lift. We also designed storage as required for the homeowner's wheelchairs.
All of this was done on a pretty strict budget. I worked with the homeowner's to keep costs low. This was done by specifying budget friendly materials and calling out on the plans items that the homeowner wanted to install themselves.
