What a transformation! This kitchen takes the prize for the most inefficient use of space in the existing layout. In my almost 20 years, I've never seen a worse work triangle and waste of valuable square footage. But that was all about to change....

This fun and forward-thinking young family of four wanted to maximize storage, functionality and flow. We redesigned the layout to include a new sink and range location, large island with seating for four, and a work triangle more conducive for multiple little sous chefs in the kitchen. We extended a wall to create a walk-in pantry, which helped square off the kitchen space. We also converted a small utility closet to a bar space with beverage fridge just outside the dining room.

This kitchen was incredibly fun to design but most importantly, so fun to see it come to life and utilize the space more efficiently!
