Most porch and deck structures are completely unimaginative, especially those made of standard pressure treated lumber. This project is an exercise in using simple standard materials in an inspired way.

The composition of the project is composed of three main elements: a screened in porch, pergola, and a balcony.

This was a true design/build project conceived of and built by the architect with many of the details resolved onsite.

This project may be best described as a full-size sketch out of wood.
