1920's co-op building in NYC. Remodelled to reflect an up-dated approach to turn-of-the-century style.

Vintage black and white has been up-dated with a large format approach and red accents.

Since this bath is adjacent to the mahogany library, the same mahogany wood was used for the vanity, mirror frame, bath entry door and all moldings. Botticino marble with a border of light and dark brown mosaics complement the masculine appeal of this bath.

Opposite the vanity is a nook with a clothes hamper and glass shelving for towels. There is a choice of a rain shower head, pulsating wall mount shower head and a personal hand held shower.

There is enough space on the wall for a large shower as well as a clothes hamper and glass shelves for towels. Simple, clean lines for all elements are critical in keeping this space visually appealing and user friendly.

The large living room and dining area needed a focal point. Although a working fireplace could not be installed, we still opted for the dramatic visual that a tall, detailed mantle and firebox would provide. We were fortunate to position it at the end of the room visible from the entry as well. ...
