My clients requested to leave the footprint of the kitchen, but completely gut and modernize with new flooring, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, fixtures, and paint. The original cabinets were oak and not functional. They wanted them replaced with a modern design and roll-out features. There was a large bar between the kitchen and family room, obstructing flow. We removed this to open the space, making it perfect for entertaining.
