The clients wanted a more open, contemporary feel for a traditional home they purchased last year in Waynesboro, PA. We gutted a majority of the first floor, removing walls and relocating the fireplace to the family room from the dining room. The renovation included a new kitchen with custom built cherry cabinets and a generous eating island. We also renovated the master bathroom which included a new floor plan with a spacious carrara marble shower, freestanding tub, and custom built vanity. The alterations included restoring the gorgeous black walnut floors (which were hidden under the engineered hardwood), adding under the cabinet lighting, pendant and recessed lighting, along with custom window treatments and Hunter Douglas Designer Roller Shades.
