The client’s main goal was to create a private courtyard at the rear of the lot for entertaining. The house is oriented on a wedge-shaped lot in a way that maximizes water views. The courtyard, pool, and barbecue are organized with the same goal in mind, while also maintaining maximum privacy.

The front façade maintains a strong street presence, gracefully handling the orientation of the garage and allowing sufficient room to park at least eight vehicles on the remainder of the site. The interior layout maximizes views from nearly all rooms. Indoor and outdoor activities are allowed to intermingle and circulation between the two flows with ease.
