Interesting kitchen/dining room combo, with the dining room table set against window seating. Might be an interesting to integrate something similar as we open the kitchen to the dining room.

Like the lighting hee.. the pendant fixtures mixed with recessed fixtures in a drywall ceiling. Also the contrasting paint color (navy) on one wall.

We like the overhanging island countertop, with stools underneath, then pendant lighting. Also the overall colors and finishes - traditional, but the stools may it look a bit more modern.
