Reply to: I have a farmhouse with a lot of wood (window trim, baseboards, tray ceiling, etc). I used SW Antique White everywhere. Even my recent painter admired it. Not too yellow, not pink or red or too blue. I tried Shoji white and it’s too white if your wood is rich, which it looks to me. Check out eBay for blankets. I think painted beds would be fantastic. I don’t like “obvious rustic”either so stick to modern, but relaxed looks. Go to tag sales! Great house. You really scored with this! And —Take a professional floor person’s advice regarding the replacement for that horrid carpeting!
