Reply to: @scovan sorry for delayed response. Here are some finished pics of Silestone Calacatta Gold in SUEDE finish for countertops and backsplash in 12mm thickness. I have been very happy with it for past 4 months. Pretty much perfect and exactly how I wanted it. Hasnt stained at all and very easy to maintain. No issues with fingerprints or cleaning. High rec the suede finish.

Reply to: Ok - I finally have things nearly done so I thought I’d post some pics of the new kitchen. We have a few minor things left but all in all, we are very happy! We decided on the light grey ‘Arctic Fog’ glass backsplash tile. We weren’t sure about grout colour so we went with Mapei Alabaster #01. We carried the Silestone behind the stove. I was worried about the Eternal Calacatta Gold being too light from the pics posted here but I’m ‘eternally’ grateful we selected it! It looks real and the lines don’t look thick and ‘drawn in’ like some marble-like quartz. The polished is extremely stain resistant! Tested with tomato sauce, wine, berries! Love it! Things always look better in person so I recommend not eliminating this countertop as a choice based on pictures alone. I never did see it in real like before we ordered. I took a chance and went for it. Very expensive but worth it! Reply to: We just got the calacatta gold installed about a month ago. Overall I like it a lot and it is very white. I like it because the veins are very subtle compared to the others we saw. We used it for the counter and backsplash.
