Example of ottomans under a console. If you eventually focuses on building up your storage in your closet and the mudroom...instead of built ins or bookcases around your TV, you could do this. You can hide the wires under a piece of painted plastic molding (available at the hardware store), but the wires would need to go somewhere - to a box or something. That's the tricky part.

Another way to show "flanking" the TV (imagine the TV where this fireplace is). Two chairs facing a love seat. Nice flow, nice for staging...but may be best suited to conversation, not lounging and watching TV.

Instead of a sectional, you could do two small love seats that are not deep, facing each other, with a bench or chair to finish the U...but it would not be as comfy to watch TV (unless you are laying down facing the TV).
