My guess was that the cookies are those vanilla Oreos, a real weakness of mine that I can't keep in the house but tend to get into at my brother's house!

Someone asked about the TV wall from the BEFORE photo, it is simply gone, leaving the view open from the dining area to the living room now. I don't believe it was load bearing, it certainly doesn't appear to be.

@Eugene Ely: So true. Every home is "curated" just some "better" than others. That and "bespoke". Hate that word.

much improved over the before but still too much white for my personal taste. Agree that it's not very practical and lacks storage, but a single man with 2 german sheperds might not cook that much... hence the 3 mugs with the neatly stacked cookie jar ;-)
