I agree with you all about having the drawings, it was so nice of these architects to share them because they really help explain so much, and they are beautifully rendered. It reminded me of architecture school back in the days before Photoshop was so good when we had to make photocopies of tree silhouettes and transfer them onto our drawings with nail polish remover. Then we would cut out figures, use the copy machine to get them to scale and "Frankenstein" them onto the drawings with Scotch tape, then we'd drive to the blueprint place across town to have it all put together nicely on a big roll of paper. The carbon footprint and toxicity required for one drawing in the 1990s was ridiculous!

OMGosh - and to think my cottage in the woods will be about that same size! LOL Very nice multi use of the building to fit the needs of the owners. Really like that skinny/slot size window. It gives a ton of light, yet also privacy without having to cover window up. Texas limestone is to die for! :)

A neighbor of mine built a party barn that also houses a full room of tools (they built their own 3200 sq ft TX limestone home themselves). There is a spot for their heavy duty motorcycles along with available service for maintenance, a bathroom, full bar and tables/chairs. All open to the outside kitchen and 2 patios of which one is set up with a stage for musicians/bands. And oh, yeah, there is also a small outdoor bar nestled along side a small shed. This place above reminds me of my neighbor's barn and all the fun times I enjoy over there.
