As lovely as the iron work is at the range, the extension to the countertop is impractical- would have worked better as a bracket, IMO.

I remodeled a whole house for a client after a fire, and the insurance company would only cover cost of replacing same materials. Not that you'd even want to do that in most cases, but who is researching, selecting, and shopping these materials? The clients had no idea where to find them, and no time to put into it. The insurance covered the cost of a landscaper, but not a designer (or any other support), which seemed absurd. I really feel for the homeowner who can't afford help and is stuck with this work on top of the trauma of a burned home!
