m8 sorry - I've been out of town - here it is with the photo. We don't need free energy or free anything we need to use resources
wisely. We don't need 90% of the crap we produce - it is just landfill
waiting to happen after a short "useful" life - grind up the earth for
quick profit and then bury its carcass. Using PV panels to leave the
lights on all the time isn't good policy either. True capitalism would
help - it is political pull and favoritism that unbalances things, stops
competition and allows for monopolies and compromised realities - there is no accountability or responsibility - the cause is far removed from the fall out (fatal weather disasters in poor countries caused huge corporations for example).

Philosophical history says you can't eliminate the middle class
("servers"/majority) - that is what supports the "served"/elite, and the
"guardian"/military/government/legal class. Plato at work - adopted by
Christianity.

I will have a happy holiday - which used to mean Holy day and I still
see it as such - holy as to what is my biz. Paradise is sacred to me.
The beautiful complexity of simplicity. What colors!

The most profitable people are short on time, very specialized, in debt, unhealthy etc - the opposite of the people that started this country- their efforts and value system were hijacked for the game of who can get the biggest pile of money - to me, how boring. Einstein said anyone can make something more complicated it takes genius to simplify things especially in a beautiful/elegant way. Same with money - if that is what you spend all your time doing - what a pathetic goal. I was at my brothers/SIL's in the last couple days - wouldn't trade that for a pile of money. Here is pic of their kitchen - just happened to catch my attention - she caters professionally. Very comfortable space with an unconventional layout and rich colors.

We need hard, challenging, rewarding WORK! The profit world conspires against this and thrives on repetition, bland consistency and the carrot of a 1950's idea of success - lots of meat/rich food and consumptive leisure. When people really worked physically hard that made more sense. I'm imagining something like the electric Amish for a future (which, by the way, is the name of a very fun band). Self reliant at a local level but connected to the world via the net and research that is not so much "can" equals "do"as fast as possible without sufficient testing and analysis of how it will affect the web of existence with its introduction. Slowing things down so we can enjoy and think - have a family.

"Off topic". My life is not a cafeteria tray with separate compartments so the corn doesn't touch the mashed potatoes. Clients sometimes ask if they are being charged for the time we are "off topic". If it is my guilty pleasure there no charge but topics that are relevant, but not directly related to their specific program, often yield the most useful information towards getting the best design for them.

So, why are some of these colors promoted or trends in general? It has to do with the philosophy of the system of which it is part of, which is what we were discussing. It is often challenging to see something clearly/completely when one is right next to it so if you back away from it a bit you get a better perspective.

Interesting that they are so different - probably because we are a global village now and there are so many factors to include. I love blueprint from Behr I used a similar colour in my bedroom although I was limited to local paint manufacturers colours. So frustrating to see paint colours on the interwebs and not be able to commuincate the colour to local paint suppliers.
