Alexa’s Living Room Ideabook
Airy feel. But a little boring
Lights and ceiling - so unique and just not your average living room or space I like stuff someone would say I would never buy that but it looks so good can’t believe it! I like stuff like that.
Love the color and bold but seemingly “simple” contrast.
Really nice but I can’t say it’s my goal to have this style. It’s beautiful beyond words I just am not devoted to this style yet.
Unique - like it
Not sure how I feel about this. It’s a lot going on. But it’s like everything (mostly) belongs..... I am not very good at filling things in. Decorating i think of like makeup. Too much it looks trashy too little looks blank, but the perfect amount of bronzer and blush with a soft gray eyeshadow with a light gray sweater and black bag. Now we are talking my language. This room fits it’s all weird feels like it doesn’t go together but it works I like the proverbial “filler” in this room.
I dig the black and white and gray theme it’s cute, funky, crisp and trendy. I like it.
Looks nice but boring.
Classy and fun I like purple!
Love. I like the unique lighting and the simplistic choice of looking at one piece of art not a cluttered wall of stuff. (I like the cluster look if done right) but I just as much if not more enjoy a fresh basic bold statement. I can never make up my mind so I will buy this and that and maybe this thing and looking at one big picture and nothing surrounding it just looks well, unique not everyone is doing it and I like that. I’ve always loved a modern mid century house. I don’t live in one of course but I’ve loved the style since I was 7 years old.
Refreshing and beautiful. All of it. Love the trim work details I feel like my house is lacking a lot of trim details and I’m not sure how to fix that with slanted walls and
Bold contrast I love. This says go big or go home. And I adore it. The shandy (chandelier) the chairs the dArk wall and the trip pops. Looks like a French hotel. Fresh and modern but homey kind of not really. I like the idea not sure I could pull this off. But I like it in this room.
LOVE THIS. Why do I love it? This thing asks me every time. I love it because of how bold it is. It just says I was designed by a pro, not your average shopper but a straight up pro. I like the ceiling design the weird funky light the colors and the rug. I like how it’s not a lot of colors but in the same scheme and just very intentional and very put together it has a lot going on while not being too busy? It looks like a hotel a little over the top a little comfy and a little flashy with the light fixture and rug. I like.
I literally despise everything and I mean everything in this room. Maybe the white fuzz and maybe the plants but everything else no no.
I like this because it says I’m fresh! Clean! And not cluttered looking! I like.
I like blue it’s calming to me against white. When I come home from work after being there for so long.... I would love to come into a space that just says hey, it’s me old white and blue pillows come snuggle us. This space looks inviting and I guess with the blue it’s kind of what I had in mind. I really like blue against white. But my space in the living room now - it’s just dark and without a repaint I think unacheivable. I’m open to repainting but would need to hire bc we can’t reach the walls and mom has an arm that swells a lot.
Here I just love the wall. No need for hanging stuff because the wall is the art. I love that. But the lamp isn’t my taste.
Love the bold and splash of yellow here. Black gray and yellow. Who would’ve thought this looks good. Like it. Don’t love it but I like parts of it. What I am saying is I like the contrast.
Understanding I don’t have the same setup again I do love the boldness here. No one would put a monochrome scheme with a yellowish painting and greenery (at least for me that’s not the first thought that comes through) but I like that it’s daring. To me it’s a simple yet bold wow factor. Not very glam though and I like glam with every bit of my heart. LOL
Says strategic placement to me vs clutter. (For me it’s a blurry line when I try it looks like I pulled out a lot of toys and put them on a shelf when I look at this it looks like the designer of Chanel came in and said spray me with my perfume and bring the mimosa) I like the crispness of the room - white candles and a clear flower vase and I like the ceiling detail a lot.
Me love love the ceiling. And I like the boldness of this room not necessarily the colors but I appreciate the contrast. Like I would never say boom black and white don’t you dare bring anything else in this room and that’s what this room says to me. Almost like hey I’m this room unless you are dressed properly don’t enter this room. It’s lovely and I love the bold style. To me this says I’m intentional my color has been analyzed and everything about me was thought through vs the previous photo which looked like lots of stuff everywhere.
I saved this because this is the look I don’t really want. To me it’s too easy to turn into a cluttered look and that’s what I want to avoid. It looks nice here but, it looks like a put together mess. I like a clean line crisp line with splash of intentional luxury type of design. I’m not off of farmhouse I’m just not into it but I’m open to it (I just can’t properly shop for it) I come home with random farm jugs and candles and a crystallized rock. It just doesn’t go.
I love how modern this is. But I am not sure I could pull it off based on the structure of the house I am in. I like the canned lights, clean crisp white with the glass and a splash of bold color here. I like going with a color like an accent color and sticking to it. Boom here is random color x strategically placed throughout the house. I like that.
I like that it looks calm and clean without clutter and very put together.
I like the beams.
