I have two Kraus 410 silgranite sinks placed side by side in the kitchen and I love them. If you rub them with a couple of drops of baby oil, they will keep that new look. My 1/2 cookie pans lay flat in the bottom of the sink -- awesome! They are quiet, unlike stainless steel.

I read somewhere that composite granite sinks are susceptible to cracks when very hot water is suddenly poured into them (i.e. when you drain boiled pasta). To avoid this, you are supposed to run cold water at the same time you pour the hot water out. Is this true? Thanks!
