We started a dry creek project months ago but I can't find the question I asked awhile ago and it's been a long time, have had some other duties pulling, but here is the dry creek we finally got in. We saved the bare center section it goes around (where the hammock is now hanging) for a little putting green but now find they are extremely expensive so may not be able to do it for some time. Also don't want to plant grass but want it green. Any suggestions for drought-tolerant green ground covers for SoCalifornia that don't need mowing? I just planted the little floribunda roses, strawberries and lavender on one side and on the other oleander and will fill in more drought tolerant flowering small plants there. We'll also be putting in a few more very large boulders. (Last photo doesn't apply but I couldn't find how to delete it.)
