Melissa: Yeah... I was watering daily... the plant is green and healthy and doesn’t show signs of needing more water. So I suspect it the dry heat and all day full sun in Southern California zone 10b it’s not liking. You seem to echo what other growers have mentioned who live in hot dry climates... it seems to prefer open shade or at least shade in the hottest parts of the day.
