We aren't drinkers, but I do like to open a bottle of wine on holidays, when we tend to host guests. These glasses belonged to my grandparents, and were received as gifts when they wed in the early 1930s. I rarely use them because they are paper thin and quite delicate, but I think they're lovely.
I recently bought four of these handmade pottery stem glasses, because they go well with my dinnerware.
But the best thing I've bought for wine is this Italian Alessi corkscrew. She's adorable!
