Our cork on the East side pf the house has faded but not on the West. The windows on the West have shading film. I've used cork for table tops and back splashes too.

DREAMDOCTOR: The shading film comes in different strengths as you know...the ones that really seem do the job are dark and ugly. This is on the east and south...closing the blinds for now, but considering replacing the cork tiles that are faded and adding the film there, compromising on the darkness of the film. The kitchen was dark to begin w/ and the film will make it darker on dark/cloudy/rainy days. I just wish my designer had told me before the fade was noticed.. Thanks for the advice.
