Love how my floors are turning out! Here is a photo showing the newly sanded red oak which is very pink and the other side is 1 coat of Berger-Seidel Pinkqualizer plus one coat of their Nordic white plus 1 coat of Royal Matte. There will be one to two more coats of royal matt applied. the rooms are looking so light and airy now

Red oak stain to simulate white oak flooring

what you don't want is any stain w/red in it. you'll want to use brown stains that are ashy or greenish tone. coffee brown and provincial are examples, as well as jacobean.

We used Bona Red Out on our red oak floors and the product did remove the red tint from the floors, but when the contractor stained them with natural stain they turned an golden oak color with dark highlights, that are very pronounced. It brought out the darker tones - Not what we were going for, we regret using this product.
