My day was made : )
In oh so busy busy everyday life, the "thank you" words are rarely expressed in a heartfelt way. We text, we toss them off as we don't want to be rude and we ARE, in the moment....... grateful! We thank anyone and everyone.
But then there are the handwritten notes, and the so VERY, very lovely thoughtful gift - completely unexpected. I got one of these today...... from the op in this thread.
To Shazia, - your note alone blew me away at the end of a ridiculous two weeks and an incredibly long and exhausting day .
Contrary to what some may believe, pro's don't hang around these dilemmas to garner business. We offer up advice without the commitment of real result or responsibility. No money changes hands and if we disappear? No biggie! But we aren't offhand in comments, we dig and we even push. Some? We hang in for what seems eternity🙄. It will be the resources of another, their result, and when someone returns and is happy? That's the best news.
Shazia, thank you so much again for your thoughtfulness. May you enjoy that kitchen for many many years, apple slices and all.
