Excellent info to help Homeowners.
The grey area is when a customer supplies materials or does a portion of the project on their own.....how does it effect the builders warranty? All need to be brought up prior to starting.

Also, ask them to see their contract... If their contract is on a yellow legal pad or a one page estimate form. Then I question how professional they are.
