Ipe Woods USA

Ipe is a little hard to work with but thats because it lasts the longest! A little tougher installation and a lifetime of benefit from it. Here is a good comparative article on Ipe lumber.

I eventually will be adding an 8'x30' east facing covered porch on my barn-to-home project and would like to know what flooring product would be a good choice for our extreme summer heat (at times, 110°+) and also a product that would hold up to the high U.V. index.

It is good to know that softwood can be a really nice looking material and that doesn't cost too much. A redwood deck does seem like a good one to get in a place that has a great view of a forest. That way, it matches the surrounding. https://bigjohnscloseouts.com/flooring/
