Hi, I made the wall of the first photo with a hair glove, not a brush. It's very easy because you need to give just one hand of paint. I used only one color.

Great ideabook! I like the texture of these finishes. I have been contemplating doing something similar in my dining room but was worried that it might look dated. I would like to use a wash of metallic paint like silver or gold over my existing taupe, but I'm not sure how it would look. I'd love to see an ideabook on paint finishes with metallic paints. I've only come across ideabooks for metallic finishes on furniture, but I'd really like to see some for wall applications.
