Lovely home!

And for once, a house where the owners 'admit' to the fact that curious toddlers and delicate/ornate fixtures and accessories dont mix...especially not at their height.

Even we kept going up and up and until our older boy just began to pull chairs up to climb. At that point, I gave up my decorating ideals and boxed up the good stuff...even the unbreakables.

When I read decor blogs by moms with little ones, I wonder if some of those expensive flower vases kept precariously, 'puhrcelain' garden stools that are too small to place anything big/heavy (let alone someone's behind) and delicate glass lamps good-lord-even-I-might-tip-it-over-with-a-finger, etc are all placed for just that one perfect shot exclusively for the blog but removed before the kids come back from school!

I think there was an error in the article. I believe the Delta product for brilliantly painting the sofa is called ceramcoat.

A very cosy house full of imagination, congratulations. And indeed, great to see a house decorated for the life with a toddler, not only for a photo shooting. Beautifull paintings, not to forget those made by the school children for Ruby, very touching, really.
