Karen, you could always use a wood boarder on the bed. In addition to making ot safe it would warm it up and add some depth.

I really love some of these ideas. my husband and I have have been redoing a house/now home from the bones up for the last two years. we are currently working on finishing/design projects and this article makes me happy about our decision to include corrugated steel.
