Does anyone have photos of roofing/porch over the back door of a craftsmen bungalow? I can tell where there used to be a cover of some sort, but I have no clues as to what to replace it with. All help is appreciated. Thanks, jo

what is the rule of thumb regarding knee braces - do you have to have a knee brace for ALL gables? we have 2 gables in the front, and three on the side (for dormers). if we only did 1 knee brace on our front gable - is that odd? the 2nd gable in the front already has board & batten detail. due to budget considerations, we would not add anymore on the side elevations. is that acceptable or should we just leave it out altogether
