Interesting that lighting elements and mirrors were not addressed. Lighting can make or break a design.

Great article and timely. I am renovating my master bath of a foreclosure home I bought 4 years ago. It's the last room to be done in my whole house reno...my grand finally! It's my plan to make this my favorite room in the house because it's my personal space... not shared with visitors or friends. Your article provided great information that I can use to plan my space. Thanks again.

Good article but there is hardly any mention of proper access to fixtures in case of repair needs. Also there is seldom a mention of blocking, or best locations for plumbing chases. Hope some plumbers or architects comment on these .
