I thought about claustrophobia, too! I guess she doesn't have time to get claustrophobic if she's constantly out of the house to take a shower, do laundry, go to the toilet, buy fresh food every day, etc.

If she has no water & minor solar power, no bathroom, a kitchen that is only useful to heat food not prepare meals, then this is not a house. It is a tent and she is camping. I do not criticize her choices, which work for her.

She gets to be all pure but notice, she showers at a friends house. Kind of like Thoreau sending his laundry to Mrs. Emerson.
