Bringing the Citrus for Spring

It is rainy and gray and totally dreary on the East Coast right now (at least where I am) - so I really need a jolt of energy and springtime. Enter citrus colors.

Bright yellows, greens, and oranges never fail to make me smile. They have the same effect on the end of winter that juicy oranges, lemons, and limes have on a nasty, lingering cold. They make it go away.

These are the spaces that are putting me in a better mood today - please add some more in the comments. It's supposed to rain here for days!

Fortunately for me, this combination sits in my own kitchen. Part of me thinks that orange and green is past its prime as a color combination, but every time I look at my stove, this view makes me smile.
