Love the elegant bookcases

Well for one thing the room has a difficult layout: pocket doors on one wall and a regular on an adjacent wall? Am I seeing that right? But I’m drawn in by the blue wall color and the different patterns of blue upholstery on the chairs. The blue walls offset the white fireplace. Although I think I would have done Blue&White chinoiserie instead of plain white?? Also like the detail that the pocket doors are wood and not painted white. A lot of deceptively complex design in this room.

Dream office! Lots of books, a fireplace, a window to brighten the room and a neat desk. The beams add rustic appeal. Like also the lighting on the bookshelves. And a plant for fresh air!!
