The Well Ordered Life: Clutter Control
Color never hurts my sense of order...
I never have enough journals to fill up...
Fun...
A good idea...
I also definitely need some of these around the studio to keep my morgue files close at hand...and mobile.
This little trug keeps showing up in my idea books...I definitely need...need...this box...It is hungering and thirsting for tubes of beads, glue sticks, rubber stamps, scissors, colored pencils, and multitudes of other art miscellany. Did I mention that I think I need this?
For filing info of any type...
For packing and inventory...
And here's the previously sketched product in action...Great idea...
A nice small wall organizer...
I've done this before...
Good message and mail organization...
I really love the counter top box for storage of frequently used items...
Super storage idea...
This little bit of organizing miscellany would come in handy...
Good idea...
Nifty...
Here's a nice solution for corralling all the family tech gadgets...
This would work for spices, paints and craft supplies, and a myriad of other uses...could be easily constructed from pieces of shipping pallets...
Here's another of those "why didn't I think of that?" ideas...
I've been using this idea for years...usually without the carrying handles, but those are a good idea as well...a set of these would make a nice gift for someone who is organizationally challenged...
Good idea, but I'd rather screw them to a board backing rather than using magnets where they can easily be knocked about...
An excellent...and easily constructed... idea that I could use...It would also work to store fabric in the studio, among other uses I can think of...
Here's a use for empty frappucino bottles...and their carrying carton...
Now this is an idea worth using...and improving upon...why didn't I think of this?
I'm sure I could find a use for this...
These old suitcases have been turned into an attractive showcase for displaying other small treasures.
Add a secret storage compartment to a book shelf with really old unwanted books...I would have to be sure they are really useless to anyone...Books are treasures in my home!
Here's a cute conversion...old door turned corner shelf unit...
One simply can't have too many good ideas for controlling the spill-over of children's toys about the house...these wire baskets affixed to a wall are an attractive option, easily reachable by young hands.
How about using an old ladder like this to hang blankets, towels, slacks...in an out of the way corner or a side wall in the closet...
Repurposed crib rails make a great magazine rack...
I've saved this elsewhere, but it is an idea that bears repeating...
Three benches stacked one on top of the other and secured with appropriate hardware make a clever shelving unit!
At last...a perfect holder for chalk!
How about a better use for a brightly colored dish drainer?
Or how about using a discarded set of bed springs for an "idea board..."
I love shutters. Here's a clever use for a smartly painted one...
I don't like the slick plastic, but the concept is great...maybe it could be done in metal or wood...or even a combination of materials...
I love boxes and baskets for storaage...
I love this color...
