Gray Cashmere Benjamin Moore
Madson Design - floor is white oak with a natural finish, water-based (limits yellowing over time). PRO Oak & Broad: It certainly does. Water-based finishes are often called clear. It helps to avoid the golden color that comes from oil-based finishes. Another option is an oiled finish. The wall color behind the room divider cabinet is Dunn Edwards "Galway Bay" DE6305. The adjacent wall, to the right, is C2 Paint "Artesian" C2-473 P. JJ, try getting other stools that aren't 'brown'. Try some of the easier fixes first to see if that helps. I'd also recommend an actual color on the walls for a bit of contrast. Ditto w/that white panel door. just want to show you how beautiful the wood looks next to blues, sages, cream tones, warm grays, etc. Or, you could paint the ceiling (between the beams) a lighter version of whatever you choose for the walls. Wales gray looks like it would go w/your rug. Sage would be nice. And black would look gorgeous. black island, maybe the pantries in black. warm golden yellow any of these colors would look great on your walls or ceiling. Boxwood green looks great w/walnut floors and your cab color. You could always paint the beams if you still think there is too much wood.
from the colors and textures of the sea but is not overtly beach-themed. The living room walls are painted in Baby Fawn and Woodland White by Benjamin Moore. “I’m obsessed with both of them,” Temkin says. “They really drove the color palette and set the tone for the kitchen, living room and bedroom.”
Paint called Pure Brilliant White. In a bedroom or den, the combination of white and off-white results in a very restful demeanor. Dreamy cream colors can sometimes appear dingy on their own, but when combined with crisp white bedding and walls, accents like a warm-toned blanket and an antique white nightstand [as in this room] create a perfect balance of contemporary crispness and traditional charm.
A neutral more interesting than beige, warmer than white and less edgy than gray, duck egg blue has its own personality but can work as a neutral backdrop. The key is to team it with a handful of eye-catching pieces. Here a red bedspread and striped armchair pop out, so it takes a moment to notice that the wall color is not a classic neutral white but a lovely soft blue." F and B Lulworth Blue.
Thomas Home Center: Behr Macchiato / "The lighting in your home is different than the lighting in this kitchen. True Value has written a great article on understanding how light affects the appearance of paint: https://www.truevalueprojects.com/paint/interior/color_advice/how_light_affects_paint_color.aspx Try taking a few photos of how the color looks on your walls and bringing them in to show the paint specialist at your local hardware store. They should be able to adjust the tint of the paint in order to combat the green that is showing up."
SchappacherWhite Architecture D.P.C.: Dark colors actually expand spaces; the dark wall blew out that side and expanded it visually. We paint at least one wall dark in every project. The smoother the wall is before painting the easier it will be....BM chalkboard paint, black 307-80; washable. Benjamin Moore can assist you with required primer in case you repaint. The floor is 6" white oak, bleached, stained, and waxed. Soapstone with custom sink. Annie Thornton: "... I have gathered tips on how to get a clean line. One technique still utilizes blue painter's tape to mask the edges. Mask a straight line with the tape, but allow a 1/8" - 1/16" gap between the wall to be painted and the painters tape. With a caulking gun and paintable caulk, rub a thin film from the tape into the corner of the wall to be painted and let dry before painting. If this sounds too labor intensive, another technique is to cut the paint edge with a stiff bristle brush before using the roller. Cut in the paint edg...
Choosing subtle colors, as opposed to bold and saturated hues, can be the trickiest, as the more subdued the tones in the paint, the harder they will be to see in a paint chip. For this reason it is wise to grab some paint chips that are SIMILAR to the color you think you want, but a bit off. Grab the paint chip that appeals to you at first glance, but also take two swatches on either side of it for variety. When you look at these paint chips again at home, you may find that one you didn’t think you liked is actually the right one for your home.

Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore for minimalist design, Genna Margolis. “It reads cool, clean, crisp ... sometimes when people are fearful to go too white, they wind up choosing something with a yellow undertone, and it winds up reading yellow, making the room look more RUSTIC.” [my Dover White a bit?]
"Ask at your BM store for color components that go into Cloud White: amounts of blue or yellow or gray...look for a neutral chip in a darker white or even a gray or greige with the same undertones. Ask them to give you a color "recipe" print-out to be sure. If Cloud White has much blue or gray in it, a wall color with a yellow undertone will look bad...."
