Thanks, Joe. "Dave" isn't the roofing/siding contractor. He is my significant other and has already done a lot of work on our house over the past five-plus years.

Currently, he's enclosing a 20x20 "attached" patio in the back and creating a 10x20 enclosed sun room within the front porch.

Sounds like you are in good hands, and the pun was intended. Dave probably understands what I was saying about some specialty contractors as being "Jack of all trades, and masters of none." Good luck.
