Divano Living

I agree with majority of comments: this furniture is aesthetically beautiful, but suitable only for those who live in very dry areas, or have roofed patios and other outdoor living areas protected from the rain/elements.

I've seen the same furniture in Florida backyards, cushions etc, where there is rain, humidity and standing water after a rain. The materials in the cushions make the difference. I am not a designer, but I am sure there are some who can provide commentary.

You are right, for outdoor furniture you need high quality furniture. Take as example recycled teak wood which resist any weather conditions. For cushions Quick dry foam is recommended, the used textile does not need to be coated but in some cases it's helpful like in hotels to prepare the lounge faster for the guest after rain. We are supplying most areas of the USA but also country's in Asia with heavy rain in the rain season, however the furniture can resist this weather conditions for years.
