Reply to: HI! Very happy so far with Mohawk... the particular flooring I chose was engineered hardwood with the Armortech coating. I also made sure that my installer used their brand underlay as well. I did a super dark color...very low luster.. and to keep clean- I am a big fan of the Bona Hardwood cleaner (NOT the bona floor polisher). Once I picked out the color/style I ordered them online because the pricing was the lowest. I don't regret getting engineered hardwood one bit- I used it for the upstairs of the house because I wasn't worried about high traffic. The armortech coating isnt available in all their styles, but I am glad I opted for a style that featured it. Let us know how it goes.. and compare prices! It was about 30 pct cheaper to order online versus my local flooring store.

Reply to: Our 3 month old kitchen has Cambria White Cliff counters that are solid white with no pattern at all. We are avid cooks and do not baby them. They have not been affected by red wine, beets, or anything else that we have gotten on them. Spills just wipe right up. The best thing to make them look nice that we have found is a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and distilled water with a couple drops of Dawn dish detergent in a spray bottle. Spray it on and dry with a microfiber cloth—works great! We also use this on our stainless steel appliance with excellent results.
