I have used the iron method many times. You need to use a tightly woven cloth and don't leave the iron on too hot for very long. The stain may go but the imprint of the weave of the cloth may melt into the finish.

Just use the Rejuvenator..Nor worries. It works on heat or water or even sun damaged finishes.

I've used the iron method a few times too - I was super worried when I first tried, I thought I'd make it worse!! Thanks for the extra tips, these are super helpful :) I've also been using this article for home cleaning help, if anyone's interested
