We are NOT a fan of open shelves, but would consider a picture shelf so we could easily swap pictures. Also would consider a console table or chest (aka "container furniture" as Hans calls it) under the TV. But Hans is adamant that no wires should show underneath the TV. We like the little end table for inside or the porch.

Open to floor lamps like those in the picture so everything is not the same height. Also looking for some throw pillows to add accent color (navy? turquoise? copper?)

I like the overall look of the room. I noticed the box/flexible seating; we need a bench or some kind of seating near the front door. I like the colors and the coffee table. We need some kind of art and would choose it mainly for the color vs. a particular type of portrait.

Like the overall look, including sofa table, couch with legs, area rug(s), matching chairs and color scheme. We need to be careful that rugs do not create a "trip hazard" as Hans's Parkinson's disease causes balance issues.
