looks nice for night seating but no shade
I like this natural look to the stone placement.
we would have a much smaller scale version of this
maybe our height
pretty path following the incline up but what would it lead to in that corner?
minimize actual grass to maintain. artificial turf?
if we had less grass vs garden plants but how to incorporate dog life?
can we build something like this over our deck?
what if we had a little she shed or covered area behind an angled pergola?
too big for our yard but picture the angle towards the house
Nice for having both sides look good
example of mix of horizontal and vertical
too woody for us
More realistic photo. Maybe we don't like as much as a privacy fence like on our other side
This design is not as linear as we were looking for but can be hidden with plants. Might be nicer for our neighbors since there does not appear to be a "bad" side.
maybe too rustic but interesting as backdrop for plantings
What about a small scale built in bench with roof sort of look at the fence?
Kind of like this but with fence behind as back wall. Raised as low deck vs. concrete pad?
What size trees can we plant now/soon? Can we grow into a little copse with firepit/chairs/lights inside?
Are these large stepping stones more practical for us than pavers? I also like the plantings around the pergola if we are going to have sun in that area now.
Is there a way to frame an area on our deck kind of like this for lights, vines + a little shade?
Something like this in a redo of our patio pavers would fit the scale of our space.
