Finally a nice and 'small' house and the Eichler feel is still there as far as I am concerned. The new floor plan suits the owner, the colours are light and bright and the whole appeal is calm and not overly decorated, love it! I can understand the owner no taking on the chore to strip back the paint from the ceiling. And for the record, I love the fire place and the back side of it! Enjoy your home, I would too!!!!!

@linh_t_tang These small Eichlers have the kitchen in front of the house usually separated from the living room by a pony wall. The kitchen is usually to the directly to the side of the main entrance. My brother in laws grandma was an original owner of one in the Greer Park neighborhood of Palo Alto and only sold the property after she passed away. $1.6 million for an original/untouched 1,118 sqft 3bed/1bath Eichler in 2014.

Love. It. Light, bright and so nice to see rooms of a liveable scale.
