All very cool ideas, both the article and the comments; thanks! Now all I need is permission from the landlord (not likely) to put hooks and screws into their precious (cheap) walls. And no, I don't have either a garage or a mudroom, either. I suppose there's always the trunk of the car, since the back seat is already full.

@writerinfact Use 3M Command hooks. They come in various sizes and hold different weights and are easily taken off the walls with no damage when you move.
