2. Sophisticated FarmhouseThis mostly white bathroom by designer Marianne Simon feels warm and interesting thanks to a variety of textures. Shiplap on the walls creates pleasing horizontal lines, while the soft pattern of the countertop adds depth. The herringbone pattern of the floor tiles creates more interest. The golden color of the faucets, cabinet pulls and chandelier brings warmth.
While the wet room incorporates some elements of transitional design, this vanity maintains the traditional style used throughout the rest of the home.
Separate vanities give the homeowners the luxury of each having a grooming area.
4. Graceful SpaceDesigner Jamie Daniel of Boyce Design & Contracting created a spacious wet room in this master bathroom with a freestanding tub, a bench seat and multiple polished nickel shower heads with body jets and sprays. Mirrored marble mosaic tile runs from the floor to the ceiling along the wet room’s walls and on part of the shower bench, which has a white quartz top. The floor tile is white marble. The chandelier features crystal.
5. Lakeside EleganceWarm gold-colored hardware, pendants and fixtures warm up the high-contrast palette of this master bathroom by North Star Kitchens, in a home on Lake Superior in northern Minnesota.
